The hotel staff, especially one woman in particular who could speak English, helped us a lot and were always friendly and polite. They even called the bus driver for the van we had arranged to pick us up at a nearby station instead of us having to travel an hour to get to where the original pick-up was in Sapa. We were frazzled after crossing the border from China so was relieved this hotel was a ten-minute drive from the border.

Reception staff was a disaster 1 nobody to help carry my luggage 2 arrogant receptionist confusing 3pc credit card fee with 30pc, no clue at all, until I told her to call management who confirmed. NO apology. VN does NOT apologise. Ever.

There is an elevator and the bed is not too hard. There is a refrigerator at the ground floor where the bottled water are free. In the evening the hotel will push the bike inside for security.

I choose this property because near from Ga Lao Cai train station. were i did'nt expect that the bus station just in front of this train station. So when I arrived from Sapa by bus and i just walk around 300 meters to reach this hotel. And you can get the ATM machine, mini market, and local restaurant near this property. The owner just little bit speak in English, but very helpfull with google translate (this is nice). They provide to contact the motorbike rent and SaoViet shuttle (electric car) to the bus depart. If I goes to Lao Cai, i'll repeat for Khach San Tokyo. I Love this property. Cam On....
