Everyone at the lodge was friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing! The lodge is the perfect central location for day trips to Kruger, Blyde River and the Panoramic view. We really enjoyed our stay and our hosts were so helpful and really made us feel at home.

We stayed at this lodge for 5 days in October and it was truly the best experience. The lodge itself is very modern, beautifully decorated and the outdoor shower is such a welcome addition. Annie was amazing - she helped co-ordinate and book all of the activities we did and helped us navigate and change/update our plans as a result of weather. Annie gave us great recommendations and answered all of our questions. The food was a real highlight of the trip - from the fresh fruit starter at breakfast to the three course meal in the evening. We cannot recommend this place enough - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay in South Africa amazing and we really appreciated it.

Vincent and Toni do such a wonderful job of making you feel like you are visiting extended family - extended family that happen to live among the giraffes, zebra, buffalo, antelope, etc. in Africa. They will work with you to ensure your itinerary covers everything you want to do, and are very willing to add on extras (like stopping at a local coffee shop to pick up some gifts to take back home). The food is AMAZING and they will cater to your preferences and adjust for allergies or dietary needs. You won’t be disappointed, my husband and I had an unforgettable honeymoon and we’re so glad we picked Sunset!
