The location is great, surrounded by nature and just 30 minutes from Kruger Orpen Gate. The tents are beautiful and comfortable, cured in details (including electric blanket if it’s cold). The restaurant and the chef is amazing, best dinner during our travel! We only spent one night so we couldn’t enjoy activities proposed but Lynn and the staff are all super nice people. Wifi available only at the reception/restaurant so don’t expect to have it in the room ;).

The Room and the Food are both equally as outstanding as the main building in the property. The place is minimal in terms of area and space however, it is all very well designed and cosy We are vegetarians and their chefs really went out of their way to research and create delicious menus for us. They incorporated 4-5 different cuisines across the days we were there. This is something we witnessed for the first time travelling globally. The manager Bruce is a very hospitable person and the owner, although not on the property at all times, was present when we were there and is someone who really appreciates ideas and suggestions. All in all, a beautiful place to visit.

From the time you arrive to the time you leave, it feels like Sunset is your home. Vincent and Toni do such a wonderful job of making you feel like you are visiting extended family - extended family that happen to live among the giraffes, zebra, buffalo, antelope, etc. in Africa. They will work with you to ensure your itinerary covers everything you want to do, and are very willing to add on extras (like stopping at a local coffee shop to pick up some gifts to take back home). The food is AMAZING and they will cater to your preferences and adjust for allergies or dietary needs. You won’t be disappointed, my husband and I had an unforgettable honeymoon and we’re so glad we picked Sunset!

Нас ждали и встретили с бокалом прохладительного напитка! Персонал в лаундже всегда очень приветливый и отзывчивый, готовы решить оперативно почти любой вопрос. Побывав во множестве отелей такого класса я нигде не встречал таких вкусных и не обычных завтраков и ужинов. В первый день был ужин у костра за общим столом, во второй день в ресторане среди предложенных блюд был вкуснейший стейк. Завтраки так же выше всяких похвал. Все это включено в стоимость проживания. В нашем номере в один из дней пропало электричество и горячая вода. После сообщения об этом администратору, нам тут же предложили другой номер и помогли перенести все вещи. На территории отеля мы встретили зебр и обезьянок. Это было неожиданно и привело в восторг. Но самое главное, тут живет большой красивый рыжий кот. После встречи с ним не возможно поставить никакую оценку, кроме 10!

We stayed at this lodge for 5 days in October and it was truly the best experience. The lodge itself is very modern, beautifully decorated and the outdoor shower is such a welcome addition. Annie was amazing - she helped co-ordinate and book all of the activities we did and helped us navigate and change/update our plans as a result of weather. Annie gave us great recommendations and answered all of our questions. The food was a real highlight of the trip - from the fresh fruit starter at breakfast to the three course meal in the evening. We cannot recommend this place enough - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay in South Africa amazing and we really appreciated it.

Fun and wonderful facilities, the food was excellent! Joe our driver was fun, knowledgeable, caring and so helpful!! Great activities especially the village tour but of course the safari trips wow! They do everything to make your stay wonderful and accommodating. Hope to go back!!
