The people who run this lovely homestay was one of the best I’ve ever encountered in the entire world. Upon arrival I was provided a generous full course dinner (don’t miss their ostrich steak!). The accommodation was a bit old but in perfect condition and comfortable. The optional farm tour, which starts at 7.30am, was definitely a highlight of my stay, where you can get really close with the ostriches and see the springboks. All I can say is if you pass by the area, stay there. You won’t regret it!

Janelle and her family, including her dogs and cats were the best of hosts. So welcoming and accommodating! It was my partner's birthday on the day we checked out and shortly before leaving, Janelle surprised us with a small birthday cake she'd just made :) Everything exceeded our expectations!

Absolutely stunning stay at the Melkboom farm! Large green territory, big yard, bbq, terrace, views on the fields . Chalet was big , with large living room, good for families. Good shower. Really recommend!
