Wonderful property so well cared for and relaxing energy in the amazing gardens. When we arrived load shedding was happening which was perfect we went for a walk on the trail in the property and really settled into nature. We had read the cell service was limited and wifi at the cabin wasn't strong (it was absolutely fine I think they've added a repeater). But we decided to make it a screen free night and enjoyed the games they provided and had a wonderful night. Thank you for creating such a wonderful sanctuary!!

Our stay at Cliffhanger Cottages was incredible and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The attention to detail left us wanting for nothing and we were absolutely blown away by the views, visible from everywhere in the cottage, including the shower! The braii on the balcony & watching the sunset over the mountains are truly highlights of a wonderful trip on the garden route. Close enough to Knysna for shops etc. but distanced enough to fully immerse and hear nothing but nature. Some amazing hikes nearby with waterfalls and streams to bathe in during the summer months. Such a beautiful peaceful spot, close enough to explore Knysna but away from the hustle and bustle. The most stunning sunrise’s. Spacious luxurious home.

This is a special place — the historical manor is every bit as impressive and charming as it looks on the pictures. The staff was friendly, breakfast and dinner fantastic. Our kids loved the pool, we loved the atmosphere and tranquility. There was an issue with our booking, but the staff found a solution that worked well for us. It is in the countryside, but only a short drive out of Knysna.
