Set in Whitehorse and only 32 km from S.S. Klondike National Historic Site, Oma's and Opa's Northern Lights Viewing Cabin offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very kind host. He carefully explained how to use the cabin and recommended places. I think it's the best place to see the aurora borealis because the surrounding brightness is low and there's nothing blocking the view to the northeast.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, The Big Red Barn is a recently renovated apartment located in Whitehorse, 32 km from S.S. Klondike National Historic Site. It is a big farm with a lovely host couple, a friendly dog, three horses, and one donkey. 30mins drive to the Fox Lake, an excellent place to watch the northern lights.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountains, Southern Lakes Resort is situated in Tagish. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The view was breathtaking, definitely something you do not get to see every day. The staff was so kind and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Food was delicious and the breakfast buffet was very convenient.

Boreale Ranch is located in Carcross. There is a games room on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Whitehorse is 42 km away. The accommodation comes with a seating area. Everything was excellent, from prompt communication, well-spoked and friendly host to the scrumptious breakfast with nice coffee. There was a viewing platform for aurora, an outdoors hot tub that can fit 3-4pax comfortably, a roomy unit and a shared spacious common living area (double storey!) with a cozy fireplace (there is one outdoors too! Set up by the staff or host at night). Will come back and stay again if coming back for an aurora viewing and longer stay!

Homey feel, quiet and comfortable stay outside of Whitehorse. Beautiful history decorates the walls of the themed rooms. We had to get on the road early the next day and we were packed an amazing breakfast to go catered to our diets! It was a comfort!

Situated off the Alaska and Haines Highways, this Haines Junction motel offers a microwave and a refrigerator in all guest rooms. Kluane National Park is 300 m away. very nice view on the mountains, pretty modern motel for the location, easy acces, nice bedding, great bathroom

Situated on the shores of Marsh Lake (35 minutes from Whitehorse Airport), this quaint lodge features views of Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. We were at the family cabin, next to the main cabin.. We had the best stay,
