The location was great, it was super clean and spacious!! I honestly didn’t expect it to be so big and even have a kitchen? I only stayed for one night so didn’t spend as much time there but would definitely return if I ever visit Beijing again. The location is great too and it’s like 20 from the famous Waifujing street. There are plenty of Hutong around the hotel which is nice. I’d also like to thank the young lady at the reception who helped me organise a taxi to the airport. She was working in the evening on 10th December, so please give her my thanks.

Happy Dragon City Culture Hotel (Tian'AnMen Lama Temple) is a 17-minute drive from Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. It takes 10 minutes by subway to many tourist attractions such as Lama Temple, National Museum and Tian’anmen Square. South Luogu Alley, Bell and Drum Towers are a 20-minute walk away. Both Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station can be reached in 30 minutes' drive. Beijing Capital International Airport is 50-minute away and Daxing Airport is 70 minutes by taxi. I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was at all times. They provided directions and food recommendations. I also liked the location of the hotel because you can walk everywhere! I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Beijing.

The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 30 km from Beijing National Stadium - Bird Nest. The bed and breakfast features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Sophie went out of her way to help us during our transit in Beijing, from picking us up and dropping us off at the airport early in the morning and late at night to taking us to the Great Wall during the day. She was exceptionally kind and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated, and is ideally located for a layover - only about 15 minutes from the airport. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. The best thing, apart from the really interesting location, room comfort and the food was the front desk ladies - they made our holiday truly a Chinese experience - they were great ambassadors for their country - helped with bookings, transport and had great advice to make the most of the attractions. Every recommendation made by them was gold - from choice of restaurants, bars and sights - and came with good instructions in English on how to get there.

Guests at Encounter Garden Great Wall Holiday Guesthouse can enjoy billiards on-site, or cycling in the surroundings. absolutely loved staying here! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The dinners were exceptional—every dish was delicious. They even taught us how to make dumplings and kindly offered us a complimentary lift to the Great Wall. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely come back!
