Each day we received a very useful explanation from her about the sightseeing route and suggestions, she speaks perfect English. The room is very clean and spacious, plenty of drinking water was provided. The breakfast is plentiful. The location is very good, approx. 15 minutes walking distance from the south entrance. It is very peaceful during the night, ensuring a good sleep. We had one dinner in the hotel. The quality of the food is average compared to the price charged.

I truly recommend staying at this homestay. I felt more like a part of the family than a hotel guest. Hotel arranged transportation for me & provided detailed explanation how to reach the hotel. I was shown around in the town & received help when I got sick. I definitely would come back.

The inn has a terrace and city views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. We were very well received by the couple who run the hotel. They picked us up and took us to the airport and to the station to Tiamen. They changed our room to a larger one, washed our clothes on the last day, and helped us with all our tours and itineraries, always serving us very patiently and at no additional cost. The breakfast was very well prepared, with fruits, toast and eggs and Chinese noodles. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, with very good towels and bedding, the air conditioning worked perfectly and the shower was great with plenty of water. The room also had a hair dryer and all the necessary amenities, including insect repellent. We highly recommend this hotel, especially because treatment like this family is impossible to have in a hotel chain. Rating 10 out of 10.

The hotel is very well located in a central area, I stayed in a room with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. Language barrier is always tricky in China but the receptionist is very attentive and was always going above and beyond to communicate, she was always ready to show the best itinerary and give tips of where to go and what to do.

A children's playground is available for guests to use at Forest Glass inn. It is nestled away in Zhangjiajie and a good respite from the walking and exploring all day. Xiaomei was an excellent host and was quick to organise taxis, tickets and meals. The rooms are cosy and the surroundings are fantastic. Highly recommend this place!

Yangjiajie Scenic Area is 2.6 km from the property. The west gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest park is 400 metres from the property. Everything about this property was exceptional! The staff were amazing :) location was walking distance from the National Park. Food was home cooked, fresh and delicious. They helped create itineraries each day with easy to follow instructions, it would have been difficult to navigate the park without them. I would highly recommend staying here :)
