When you stroll out in the evening, the lanterns light up, and old shops and street food stalls are right in front of you, full of that lively, authentic vibe. No need to hunt for places to eat; just step into any spot, and it’s sure to be delicious. The biggest surprise, though, is the service here—they truly take care of every little detail. When I checked in, the owner warmly introduced local attractions, even telling me which shop has the most authentic Pingyao beef and the best time to visit Rishengchang to avoid crowds. That kind of thoughtful care makes the whole trip feel so warm. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Pingyao. Great location, amazing atmosphere, and service that’s second to none—highly recommended!

The room was very well appointed and comfortable, with a lot of nice touches. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were superb, very attentive and helpful. They’ve offered free pick up and drop off to the train station, which was very convenient. They gave us excellent suggestions for eating places and attractions. They help us to organise our laundry. And more and more! If ever back in Pingyao we will definitely stay here again!
