Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). Guests may reach to the famous tourist spots such as Qingyang Temple, Kuanzhai Alleys and Tianfu Square within a short walking time. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. If I could give this hotel 11 or 12 stars I would. It was superb in every way. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the room was spacious and immaculate, and the staff -- Frank and Vivi -- SO HELPFUL in every possible way. And the location was perfect. I can't imagine making a better choice.

Located in the central business district of Tianfu New Area, Citadines South Chengdu is just a 2-minute walk from Tianfu Software Park. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. Tianfu 3rd Street Subway Station is positioned an easy 2-minute stroll away. The rooms were very large - I especially enjoyed the shower section. I stayed with my partner and found the room very convenient but it could be more challenging for people uncomfortable sharing a washroom as the shower and sink area are not segregated. The hotel also provided cute panda keychains during our stay! We had delivery to the hotel and pick-up was convenient downstairs. There is also a small shop that sold buns and drinks next door. The room was very clean and the AC/Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We mostly took DiDi to get around and location was convenient for pick-up and drop-off.

Ascott Raffles City Chengdu offers luxurious apartments with free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The apartments all feature upscale amenities and some units are fully equipped kitchen. Sichuan Gymnasium Station (Line 1 and Line 3) is 2 minutes' walk away and Line 10 is a 5-minute walk away from the station. Steven Holl is a Feng shui master.

Situated in Wuhou District, Kempinski Hotel Chengdu is a 5-minute drive from Chengdu South Train Station. It offers an indoor pool and spacious rooms with a flat-screen TV and free internet access.

Kempinski Hotel Chengdu is about a 15-minute drive away from the city centre and a 20-minute drive to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a 30-minute drive away. I enjoyed staying at Kempinski in Chengdu. Lovely hotel, great spacious, modern and clean rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was not impressed with swimming pool and spa area but I still would come back here next time. In my opinion it's one of the best hotels in the city alongside The Ritz Carlton and The Temple House.

The luxurious hotel offers a 2-storey health club with an indoor pool. Step out, you may walk to Jinjiang Hotel Underground Station (Line 1) in around 5 minutes. Really good location with attached small mall and all kinds of shops around. The area looks a bit trendy.

Located in Chengdu, 1 km from Kuanzhai Ancient Street, Yinxitang Aesthetic Life Courtyard Hotel Kuanzhai Alley People's Park Subway Station Branch provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The property is around less than 1 km from Tianfu Square, 2.7 km from Wuhou Memorial Temple and 2.9 km from Chunxi Road. The hotel has a terrace and city views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the snack bar. This hotel is adorable and in a fantastic location. The staff is super helpful and even ordered us a taxi and because we didn't have our apps set up yet, they paid for our cab so we could get to a cell phone store to get service. The resturaunt is delicious with some of the best food we had on our trip. The air conditioner was ice cold and the shower water was hot. The beds were comfortable and we had great pillows. The courtyard was cozy and comfortable.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking hotel features a hot tub and entertainment staff. Our stay at Qingcheng hegu haven was really enjoyable. Nestled at the foot of the hills, it’s surrounded by nature—just a heads-up: pack mosquito repellent as there are some bugs in the evenings. The host’s warmth made us feel like family from the moment we arrived—they even mapped out hidden local eateries and scenic trails that became highlights. The traditional Chinese decor is nice, especially the lotus pond at dusk. Being 10 minutes from the Panda Base was a plus, and after exploring, the hot springs and Chinese-style SPA were quite relaxing. Minor note: stairs from reception to rooms mean extra help with luggage, but the waitstaff happily carried ours. Worth considering for a stay in the area.​
