Set in Popayan, Hotel Monarka-Edificio provides free WiFi. The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. The rooms were very clean and comftoable bed. We liked that there were dressers and hanging space to unpack. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to find something for me to eat for breakfast as a vegan. We really liked the area of town we were staying in, as it semed to be a very safe neigborhood. It is important to note, that you are about a 20 minute walk from the main plaza.

Hotel La Plazuela, which houses artisan Pizzeria 100% sourdough, fresh tomato sauce from the region, with 18 years of tradition and recognized locally; Pizzas, lasagnas, long pastas, soups and... Loved everything about this hotel. We had a large corner room. We could barely hear street noise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was modern. The location was ideal...one block to the center plaza. The staff were very welcoming. Hotel parking was a block away, but the porter always accompanied us there and back.
