Totally unique. Unlike anywhere else I had stayed before. Beautiful, lovingly restored historical building full of beautiful details in every corner. The upper terrace boasts views across the plains of Mesopotamia and downstairs there is a cosy shaded courtyard in the lobby area. A really atmospheric and tranquil place for breakfast. We spent 4 nights here and would definitely return in a heartbeat. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we really felt at home and gave us an unforgettable experience.

We couldn't have expected the levels of hospitality and warmth from the staff, specifically Mehmet. He has definitely won our hearts and we look forward to coming back and seeing him again soon. Nahrin is a very impressive location - a magical 1200 year old converted chapel, which Mehmet gave us a detailed tour of. The room was gorgeous and made for a very cozy and happy night. A stay at Nahrin is a lot more than just a typical hotel, it is a very special experience in itself and we can't wait to go back. Thank you so much again!
