A dream retreat with charm and hospitality I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property and I can only rave about it! The location is simply fantastic - in the middle of a quiet environment that rewards you every morning with a breathtaking view of the valley. The atmosphere is almost magical and you immediately feel at home. The landlord couple deserves special praise. They are extremely accommodating and friendly, and seem to guess their guests' every wish before it is even expressed. Your hospitality is truly outstanding. I particularly liked the breakfast room, where you can quickly get into conversation with other guests. It's like being in a big family - you immediately feel welcome and can share wonderful moments. An absolute highlight of my stay was the visit to the vinegar cellar, where the famous balsamic vinegar is made. It is particularly recommended to try the vinegar (SALO) with ricotta and a few drops of sweet SALO vinegar, for example - a real culinary delight. All in all, I can highly recommend this accommodation. Anyone looking for peace, relaxation and warm hospitality has come to the right place. It was an unforgettable stay that I would like to repeat soon!

The house was very comfortable and had all you need to get started like, salt & pepper, olive oil, coffee, etc. Somehow we had the house only for ourselves and this was an added bonus. Moreover, the house sits at the bottom of a hill surrounded by vineyards. The whole place is very idyllic. It is hard to know where to start taking a picture and where to stop, as there are loads of beautiful landscapes and astonishing views.

Beautiful countryside, setting away from the town. Clean, basic accommodations for our group of five. Two rooms with a shared private bathroom in between. We ate dinner at the restaurant. It was reasonably priced and very good food.

Nestled amongst the property’s own vineyards in the heart of Italy’s culinary region, this hotel is a great spot to escape your everyday hectic life and slow down a bit. The rooms are large and well decorated and the restaurant is incredible. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable about the history, the area, the wines, and pretty much anything else we asked. Breakfast is very Italian, with cookies, cakes and fruit, so if you’re somehow thinking you’re going to do low-carb while I’m Italy, it’s best to check with them ahead of time to see if they can accommodate (which I have little doubt they will). But make sure you stay for dinner and a wine tasting! The restaurant menu uses local ingredients to craft lovely dishes that are both modern and capture the traditions of the area. The wines are also delightful, with a wide range of styles to suit different tastes and dishes.

Super location and scenery, with great views on the po-delta and surroundings. Especially in combination with a tour in the familily balsamico production farm, and the excellent food offering, this is a very special getaway for one or a couple of days.
