The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. The place is impeccable and has a great vibe! Everything was perfect, the breakfast was so tasty and the bed was actually more comfortable than the one i have at home (which is a first for me)

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect, so beautiful and quiet, but still easily accessible to reach Funchal. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The house was well equipped and had everything you could need.

The location was very fantastic, but we think it requires a car. You are a part of nature. Surrounded by plants and flowers and a river. A bit like in the jungle. We are not usually into breakfast, but Carlos's breakfast was fabulous. We loved sitting in his kitchen and eating delicacies and hearing stories. His scrambled eggs were the best ever. Carlos an Leonor were very attentive to what you liked and there was always something new every day. Everything is not perfect, but it becomes when you have met Carlos and Elonor. They are so lovely people and they will do everything to make you feel good and at home. Thanks for making our visit so special :)
