The location in San Donato Val di Camino was ideal. It was a downhill walk to a wonderful Osteria along narrow cobblestone streets. The parking was at the top of the hill by the tower and a short downhill walk to the accommodation. It should be noted that it’s only suitable for those who have no ambulatory issues. The accommodation is very cosy and has a small kitchen that seemed to be well appointed. The kitchen had an Italian moka pot. Water, tea and some juices were provided as well as some breakfast foods. The sleeping quarters are up a very narrow spiral staircase. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was of good quality. There was a small window with a spectacular view of the valley below. The bathroom was fully equipped, the shower was tight, but there was plenty of hot water. Air conditioners/heaters were available on the main floor and also in the bedroom area. Our style of travelling does not involve sitting around.

Great quiet place to stay to explore the beautiful coming valley and abruzzo national park.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Excellent place with amazing views of the mountains. Very nice hostess who made excellent dinner for us and recommended nearby places to visit. The children (5 and 7) loved it, and thought this was the best place we visited during our vacation. They especially loved the two dogs Leo and Pablo, the play ground and the food.

I packed the wrong clothes for the season and they let me borrow t-shirts so we wouldn't have to go shopping during Ferragosto. The breakfast was packed with freshly baked goods and everyone seemed happy to have us there. They aim for excellence and they make sure you feel at home. My son was happy wondering around the beautiful property while we were resting or getting ready to the next hike. Fausto and his wife were ready to offer suggestions on where to go or where to eat. The ritual of wishing and the bell at the beginning of our stay was a nice unexpected surprise and will be in our memories for a long time. I even got a talisman to take home. Everything was really nice we we would love to stay at the Cominum again next time we visit the area.
