The property’s restaurant, Cozinha da Clara, is named after the owner's British grandmother, and takes inspiration from her home-cooking, with a menu featuring regionally-inspired dishes. The Quinta is by the Douro River, and we had a beautiful twin room with a balcony facing the river. I recommend asking for a room higher up to have this view. The restaurant is fantastic, amazing food. The surroundings are gorgeous too. Very helpful and pleasant staff too.

It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. Great location on working vineyard with stunning views of the Douro river. Miguel and his family are exceptional hosts. Dinner was delicious. Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. This farm stay has a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and a housekeeping service for guests. Fabulous views over the Douro valley! The owner was very friendly and helpful. However note that the closest restaurant is 10 min away by car.

Starting with João - he greeted us so kindly, and Quinta de Chousas was more than we expected. Great hospitality, breakfast - too much choose from(inc Papas delicious cake) and our room upstairs facing the pool was perfect. On our first night João made up a platter accompanied with a bottle of their own white wine, which we enjoyed sitting outside near the pool. You will need a car to access the property, as slightly out of Braga, but worth it . Thankyou to João, Bruno, Imelda and Papa for a very comfortable 2 nights

Moinhos do Paiva is set in Castelo de Paiva and features a private pool and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Nuno is an outstanding host. He seems to have a special worldview. His place looks like a piece of heaven, he welcomed us with open arms, gave us recommendations around the village, allowed us to use all the facilities - unlimited pool, kitchen and public living room, check out until 2pm with an elaborate breakfast. He suggested us to stay even after checking out to use these facilities. The environment gives quality time with nature, we rested and enjoyed. Only one minor thing-the road to the place includes sharp descents with narrow road-alleys that only good drivers can manage. Thank you for the time in Paradise Nuno. We will definitely come back to stay.
