I travelled for work and the location was perfect as it was close to where I needed to be. I knew of the area as I have previously lived in the locality. I did not expect to have such a great host a remembered why the location is rather sought after views of the sea. The breakfast was a traditional and well cooked with top quality food and really quickly. I chatted to the host for a good 15 mins and it felt very friendly and just natural liuke two old friends chatting. I WILL BE GOING BACK.

The grounds were superb - great for walking dogs. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the shower was great and the towels were definitely 4 star quality. The dog bowl, blanket and treats were great. The bar served food until 10pm, which was good for us as we could not arrive until 9pm (due to disembarkation from Brittany Ferries boat). We took our drinks on the terrace, which was really good and had a night stroll along the outer path through the wooded area. All staff were very friendly and helpful - 24 hour reception if needed.
