The family was so nice and the food they made was fantastic. They showed me around the city, took an unforgettable 4 day trek in the Himalayas where we camped went fishing and ate like kings. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay and trek in the future. After all this they setup my bike rental to ride the leh circuit! If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings. We stayed for 2 nights at Going Palace houseboat. It is a deluxe houseboat with intricately decorated. Rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms were very clean. The facilities in the houseboat were very good. The staff - Wasim, Same er and Sams were very friendly and catered to all our requests.. The food was very homely and tasty. The houseboat location is also great with very good views and away from the sounds of the main road but not far from gate 12. Mr. Goona took special care that we are ok. Overall a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.
