The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The only minor downside is the proximity to the road; while we didn’t hear any noise from our room, lower levels might. Overall, a fantastic and relaxing experience!

Kids had a wonderful time in the pool. The pool is well maintained and clean. The rooms were spacious and there was a separate living area. I suspect they gave us a free upgrade. I had booked the classic rooms but what I got was more like a suite. Complimentary Buffet Breakfast had enough options to choose from. There is a room for kids indoor games which has a small TT table, Foosball caroms etc.

Abad Greenforest Thekkady is a 4-hour drive from Cohin and 190 km from the Cochin Airport. It is a short 2 km from Periyar Boat and the Spices Plantation. Free parking is provided on site. The property and it's all amenities were well maintained and clean. Staff were very good, helpful and prompt in response. Food was great both in buffet and ala carte and it was very inexpensive. This was my second time with Abad Green Forest and I chose it again based on my good experience the first time. Totally worth the money.
