The hotel was not big, more like a boutique hotel. But had all you could need. At the lobby, they offer complimentary beverage and sweets. And late at night, complimentary ramen. Staff were friendly and made everything they could. Although we have problem with the language, I didn't speak Japanese, nor did they speak English, but they did their best. At the room, we also had complimentary beverages. Our last day breakfast was Japanese breakfast and was very good. And at check out, they gave us a little bag which had rice crackers, that was very kind from them.

A wheelchair accessible room can be found at this property. A truly amazing place. The hotel is completely new. Japanese style but oh so modern! Great value, wonderful staff. We even had a small Japanese garden in our room! We loved Kanazawa in general - such an amazing yet not overly touristic place. There is an awesome market right next door where you can buy sashimi, chirashi sushi and wagyu need skewers that were divine.

She picked us up from the train station, and we had daily breakfasts hosted by her out of her cafe with unlimited espresso beverages :O On top of this all, we were there as a family with my toddlers and they were both smitten by her hospitality and missed her when we left Kanazawa. The hotel is a recently historic Japanese home which was a beautiful setting nestled next to a peaceful courtyard garden. We would love to come back!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. We were given the most beautiful welcome gifts and had everything we needed to be comfortable for the nights that we stayed. Within 15 minutes walking distance to anything we wanted. Highly recommend!
