Definitely stay here again if we come back to this city.

The area is popular for cycling and hiking, and free use of bicycles is available at this 4-star ryokan. The ryokan has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Everything. Knowing how amazing our stay was, we wish we had stayed 2 nights instead of 1. The e-bikes were a hit, as was the evening meal and the onsen. Room was extremely comfortable. Staff were lovely.

The location is perfect for a relaxing weekend, really scenic and beautiful sea views. 
The open-air bath is the main appeal for us, followed closely by the food (dinner is a must if you stay here, definitely book as it's a highlight). The staff (shoutout to Uehara-san) are also super warm and helpful. We’ll definitely be returning again.

Gorgeous view of the ocean and a lovely bath. The pictures aren’t doing the hotel justice - it looks way newer and more luxurious in real life. We were well stocked with amenities, which were lovely with nice fragrances. The check in experience was very welcoming. We were served tea and delicious matcha crème brûlée. Incredible! The building itself is very beautiful, located right next to picturesque cliffs, which had a little hiking trail.
