Right at the station, so couldn't be more convenient for trains and buses. If you come from Osaka you hardly have to go outside. The station complex itself has drinking and eating places galore, and there are some v cool izakayas and cafes etc. with 10 mins' walk. In addition, the view from the spa is great, and the room lovely. I would only consider staying here if I came to Wakayama again.

The set of rules are clear and easy from the beginning. I wish i could have stayed longer.

JR Wakayama Train Station is within an 8-minute drive. The location is very close to Wakayama Castle with good view! Staff members are friendly and there is no trouble in communicating in English. The room is clean and neat.

Front Office staff needed a boost to their communication capabilities, but we appreciate the effort. There was a Sri Lankan lady who was our “angel…”thank you. Breakfast and dinner buffets were awesome…arigatou gozaimasu! Urashima’s onsens are out-of-this-world! The best, so far, in Japan! Bravo!

Guests can enjoy the various public hot-spring baths and sauna rooms. This hotel was a great gem of a find. The room was quite large, and very quiet. The hotel had great amenities - There were massage chairs, an Onsen (which was amazing - sauna and 3 pools), free ice cream (during a set time), free Yakult (in the morning) and delicious Ramen (from 9pm) which were all included in the price. The location was within walking distance to the train station and the castle. Would highly recommend.

You can play billiards at this 4-star hotel. Great hotel in a traditional Japanese style. The room was beautiful, we had a private garden with an open air bathroom. A perfect place to relax. We had a lovely stay
