The room was huge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fabulous - this hotel is part of the island entertainment and shopping area. Our riverview room was quiet with a restful balcony over the river. Relaxing is actively encouraged, including around the fireplace in the lobby.

Pigeon Forge
Surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains, this hotel is a 3-minute drive away from Dollywood in Pigeon Forge and features an indoor and outdoor pool, on-site dining and on-site salon and spa. Free WiFi and door-to-door transportation to the theme parks is available. Fabulous resort. Rooms were lovely, theres a coffee shop downstairs, along with a merchandise shop. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming! Because we stayed at the resort we were given free passes to “skip the queues” at the theme park and a free trolley service to and from the resort. The TV in the room has a channel (Channel 301) where Dolly reads bedtime stories, very sweet!
Pigeon Forge
The Bavarian-inspired The Inn at Christmas Place is opposite Christmas Place holiday store and 1.3 km from The Island in Pigeon Forge family entertainment centre. An outdoor pool with a 29-metre waterslide and large garden are on site. This place is absolutely beautiful. The entrance, the lobby, the courtyard with fire pits and rocking chairs, and the rooms are decorated for Christmas. Beds are very comfortable, great breakfast selection.
Gatlinburg
Historic Rocky Waters Inn, A Small Luxury Hotel is an adults only hotel. If you are bringing anyone below the age of 21, your party will be asked to leave the premises. Your reservation will be charged for one night plus applicable taxes. This has been far and away the best stay on our US expedition. It was just perfect. The town is spectacular, the room was so comfortable (best sleep I’ve had all trip), river running alongside inn makes for great white noise, staff were friendly and the Rio pizza restaurant next door was fabulous. There are zero faults.

Good location. Comfortable and clean bed. We travel to Gatlinburg mainly to hike and eat the great quality of foods offered in the area. The cottage we were in was right on the river, and we liked the scenery a lot. Other than that, bathroom was clean and the place was overall convenient.
Great location - walking distance to Patriot Park for Dollywood shuttle and lots of restaurants and a supermarket. Lots of free parking. Looks recently renovated. Room clean and comfortable. Excellent water pressure. Bed very comfortable. Effective air conditioning. Quiet room (we were at the back away from the road). I liked having the chairs outside the room to sit out. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Room well equipped with everything we needed. Ideal and great value for 3 day trip.
The location is perfect for the full Gatlinburg experience. You are within walking distance of everything centrally located on the main Gatlinburg strip. This is very convenient considering parking costs $20 at most of publically available lots. The Inn opened in 1937, it has been modernized but basically looks like it has been around forever. Some people prefer sleek and modern if that is you, you probably should stay somewhere else. My wife and I loved it and will be back again next year.
Great location. A 10 minute walk to the city center (back to the hotel a 15 minute walk uphill) and a 10 minute drive to the National Park. Very kind staff. A hot tub and a fire pit (the fire pit wasn't used because of wind gusts and wildfires) Free parking.

First impressions were excellent! Lady at the front seat was friendly and helpful. The room was modern and comfortable, much nicer than other hotels I’ve stayed in in the area and the location was perfect, near the trolley station, the best restaurants and Dollywood!
Location of the room was awesome! Right on the Gatlinburg strip. Made it very easy being able to walk right out and be in the midst of the parkway. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Had a sliver of a mountain view from our room. Nice, private balcony to sit on and relax. Can see parking being tight for a late arrival. The lot filled up quickly and there was a lot of parking where there was available space.

Good location, close to the Main Street but still quiet at night. Bathroom has been renovated + it’s practical to have one big sink outside the bathroom when traveling in three. Good price.
