- Award-winning Buffelsdrift Lodge offers free-standing tents with views of the Klein Karoo's Swartberg Mountains and a wildlife watering hole. We had a wonderful stay at Buffelsdrift. The lodge was amazing and the staff were all very kind and helpful. The tents were comfortable and well equipped with fantastic views . We thouroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and hearing the wildlife, it was an amazing experience overall! The food was excellent and the restaurant staff were so friendly and provided great service. We enjoyed the various activities, especially an experience we did with Eddie, he is a great Ranger, he is very knowledgeable and made the trip so memorable for us. We will definitely come back soon!

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. Albert and Elza made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Despite an unwelcome rain spider in our room Elza kindly removed it for us. The breakfast was also so good!

The Retreat at Groenfontein is located on a gravel road, 20 km north-east of Calitzdorp. Free WiFi access is available. Each accommodation will provide you with a private bathroom. The Retreat was fantastic. We only stayed one night, and regretted it! This location works as a stop over, but as a 2+ night stay it would be a amazing. There are enough trails for a few days of hiking. The grounds are really peaceful, with lots of swimming options. Food was delicious and healthy. Staff was super friendly. The communal dinners are really relaxed and casual. Main house is beautiful and charming, rooms/suites are very comfortable. The whole place left us floored and wanting to return.

Located 20 km outside of Oudtshoorn, Thabile Lodge offers accommodation with a farm-style atmosphere and views of the Swartberg Mountains. The lodge has an outdoor pool . Beautiful surroundings and views. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent meals.

Located in the Assegaay Nature Reserve just outside the town of VanWyksdorp, Rooiberg Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant all surrounded by the Rooiberg Mountain Range. Restaurant, staff and grounds were all immaculate. The area is remote and quiet. The accommodations here make the trip worthwhile! The service by all the staff was incredible.

Karoo Sun Guesthouse ligger längs Route 62 i hjärtat av Oudtshoorn och erbjuder en utomhuspool, en trädgård och en solterrass. Cango Caves ligger inom 30 minuters bilresa. It was very quaint, well cared for, and thoughtful put together. You could tell it had been the owner’s family home and they took pride in caring for it and welcoming guests.

The staff is extremely nice and helped us book some activities, the rooms and common areas very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We were particularly impressed with the design an comfortability of the rooms. You can really see that a lot of thought and care went into all the little details. Book if you have a chance!
