Very modern and good size room with adequate balcony, the bathroom was very nice, the tv was big and WiFi worked well. Breakfast was included in price with many choices. The bed was a bit hard but ok in general.

I liked everything, ON MY TASTE!!! It's a quiet place, not crowded, close to the beach, basically u have everything close. If u like a 5 star hotel to have people that serving you then it's not for you. But if u like to manage things by yourself and you enjoy tranquility and quiet places, without a lot of people then it's the perfect place. The pool is awesome also, trees, sea, sea sand, places near where u can just go by walk and eat.

We had a really great stay and felt it was definitely worth the money. The room was small, but it had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, and we slept really well. Breakfast was served in a big restaurant with a lovely conservatory, which was probably our favourite part. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything tasted great.

Had corner penthouse, great size, terrace and facilities. Pool area well organised, bar good, beach section easy access to water and shallow water to a long long way out. Dinner at hotel not great, but easy. Breakfast amazing so had good expectations for dinner.

Mamaia has a nice and spacious beach, but unfortunately some areas are poorly maintained. In several places, construction materials and leftovers from works carried out by entrepreneurs are simply left lying on or near the beach. For one of Romania's best-known tourist destinations, this creates a very poor impression. The town hall should pay much more attention to the overall appearance of the resort and ensure that businesses keep the beach and surrounding areas clean and presentable. Mamaia deserves to look like the major tourist destination it is supposed to be, especially because it is quite expensive.

It is expensive for what it has to offer: a mix of new buildings with construction sites, gravel, dirt, smells either from Midia Refinery o drainage from the buildings, garbage bins on the street, very crowded, not enough parking space. There is nothing else to do in the evening, just to walk on the promenade and go eat. To many tall buildings, to little walking space, no other activities.

Spent only a day there; do not recommend. There isn't much to see, the shipwreck is not interesting in my opinion. The walkway has no trees so it is very uncomfortable to walk in the sun without and greenery. The beach is fully packed with parasoles and people, way too crowded and aesthetically not pleasing at all. Drank a coffee at Mangole coffee kiosk, the owner is sweet and the coffee was nice. The whole town is unkempt, weed grows everywhere, the buildings and roads are not very nice unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend people to visit this town, just go to another coast and if you insist on Romania, stick with Constanta.

A good location for families with kids - plenty of...

A good location for families with kids - plenty of accessible restaurants, cantinas, grocery shops. There is only one ramp access point to the beach (South, near Belona). All the others are stairs - some in a very rough shape. You will have a hard time getting to the beach with a stroller or in a wheelchair. And going up and down the stairs every day will soon make you wish you got a hotel nearer to the beach. In the places where the beach has been extended (the entire beach with the exception of the North side, near Delfinul/Steaua de Mare), the sand is mixed with broken sea shells, not fun to walk on, hard to play with. The best thing about Eforie is the sea - it is usually very clear, mild waves, smooth sand with no rocks, very slow descent that allows even young kids to stand up in the water for up to five-10 metres from the beach line. Sure, sometimes there may be algae, medusas or small crabs after a storm, but most of the time this is where you'll find the best water on the Romanian sea side. In terms of restaurants, we always favored Mirage and Terasa cu Ancore, in the North; in 10+ years of going with small kids, these were the places where we never had issues with bad food.

Constanța impressed us with its sunny, cozy atmosphere, beautiful beaches, parks, and charming streets. The beach area is very well developed, with cafés, shops, concert stages, water parks, trampolines for children, and volleyball courts for adults. There is a fun and festive atmosphere everywhere. The beaches are large and clean, with soft, pleasant sand and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. You should definitely visit the port area and the promenade near the city’s landmark — the magnificent and imposing Casino building. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful squares, streets lined with historic buildings, and museums. The Orthodox Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, built in 1883–1885 in the Neo-Byzantine style, is also located nearby and is well worth seeing. Constanța has many beautiful parks, especially the large and picturesque park around Lake Tăbăcărie. Nearby, there is a dinosaur park featuring life-size moving dinosaur exhibits, as well as a huge shopping center with a Carrefour hypermarket, numerous clothing, footwear, and other brand stores, a cinema, and a food court. There is also a dolphinarium, a zoo, and a McDonald’s not far away. It is worth mentioning the well-organized public transport system, with numerous bus routes, as well as wide sidewalks and dedicated bike lanes. The people are friendly, and many speak English and are happy to help and give directions. Overall, Constanța has a pleasant atmosphere and well-developed infrastructure that offers something for everyone and is sure to leave a lasting impression. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful city!

Hotel was very ok, but Neptun was not so clean, amenities were poor, it is a pitty because with some minor investments in green spaces, clean services, parking around beach, beach clean up could, could have a very beautiful and attractive destination, as it was years ago.

The resort is dirty, at least the road to the beach. The beach terraces are the worst I've seen—dirty, with questionable service quality. The beach is only partially developed. There are no cafes. The restaurants remain unchanged, with the same communist-era vibe from 30 years ago, making you feel like you've stepped back in time. The only thing that has changed is the blaring manele music everywhere.

the resort has improved in the past years but it still has...

the resort has improved in the past years but it still has quite a lot to go until it reaches its full potential. there's pretty much enough to do regardless if you're with your family, friends or partner - a 2-3 day stay is just right, in my point of view. there are cars parked on every single available plot of land. it can be quite annoying, and I think that a large parking place should be set up on the outskirts of the resorts - a 5 minutes walk wouldn't kill anyone.

Mamaia is such a lovely beach side place, plenty places to eat, have fun and make memories! There is like a fun fair open every evening in the top of the strip, with loads of things to do, nearby there is aqua magic water park, so much fun to be had. A little further down the road you can go to Constanta old town, about 30mins drive and there is plenty to see and do, especially at the harbour and toward the Casino! City park Mall is 5-10 mins from mamaia and has some amazing shops inside. Also, if you don’t mind driving, Varna in Bulgaria is only 2.5hr drive away, well worth a day trip.
