Situated in Dana and only 31 km from Shobak Castle, Dana Nabil Ecu Camp House - Main Gate Dana nature reserve features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. The food was amazing. Great owner with a lot of interesting stories worth listening to. The place is worth visiting, not only because of good conditions, but also because of these lovely people. Don't hesitate asking them about the country and the culture. The guy helped us a lot, and offered places that were definitely had to be seen. It could have been a bit cold in a tent that we booked, so the man offered us regular rooms! It's really worth visiting, not only to experience, but to support local society.

The houses are just big enough and have their own bathrooms. The location is remote, peaceful and a few hundret meters walk from camp there is a perfect sunset panorama. They even prepaired a light lunch for us since we arrived sooner and couldn't wait till dinner.

We were the only guests (due to low tourist numbers in general), and our host Mohammed was very generous with his time and efforts to give us a great experience there. The cooking was superb for the two dinners we paid for, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Heat was provided in the evenings to stave off the chilly weather. Our family of 5 enjoyed it immensely and would happily stay here again if we come back to Petra
