The couple that owns the place is super nice and hospitable. The guesthouse is well located in the middle of the Shimanami Kaido just a little bit off the blue line. Everything is clean and well organized, the room was super comfortable which was much needed after a long day of cycling. Really recommend to stay here if you’re doing the cycle!

Had heated beds with a controller to adjust the temperature. There was a desk and sink in the room. Shower room was fully stocked and clean. The center of the hostel to walk from the room to the shower room is exposed to the outdoors so very cold if winter but it's not so far so it's fine. Good restaurant downstairs and useful laundry room.

We stayed 2 nights with friends and it was perfect . From there there are local buses to get to the ferry for the islands They give you a set for bbq to prepare yourself and also breakfast. It was the best decision to stay here
