O Cashew Nut Bungalow, Ko Mook está localizado a 300 metros do Píer de Ko Mook e a 200 metros do Centre Point. A pousada conta com bar, churrasqueira e vista para as montanhas. Tents are rustic but it's totally worth it for the price and the helpfulness of the host. The bungalows are very comfortable if you are looking for something more like a room. The host drove us to sunset, showed us the cheapest island food, and hooked us up with the cheapest tours on the island. He really goes out of his way for travelers on a budget.

This place is simply gorgeous! The location is amazing, with views out over the mountains and to the ocean. The open lanai was a gorgeous and peaceful place to lounge and relax and watch the sunset - even though the staff assured us that the sunset is "better other times of year," I still thought this "less good" sunset view was pretty dang incredible! The little private A-frame huts were so cute and comfy, and the shared bathroom was clean and convenient. And the staff member who was working was the nicest, most helpful person in all of Thailand. We were there during a quiet time (I think there was only one other guest staying there at the same time as us) so the restaurant was closed. But when we told him we were hungry, he just whipped up these two delicious bowls of soup for us, and then he offered us fruit from their garden. Unbelievable hospitality - I wish we could have stayed longer.

I saw so much wildlife; a baby colugo, owl, frogs, fish, many cheeky macaques and snakes (in the trees). The tent is very comfortable, with a power lead outside with a fan provided (for each tent) and spare ports for charging your devices. I met some great people here, who shared very good tips for travelling. This was a really nice stop to socialise with others. Noi & her husband were so friendly and helpful. You can book your trips for sightseeing; such as birdwatching/jungle hikes/lake tours through Noi. Noi will also help with checking that there are spaces on buses/vans for onward travels & will get you to the bus stop with your gear. Clean showers and toilets. Laundry service. Breakfast is included (tea, coffee, toast, fruit, fritters). Soft drinks & beer for sale. A 15 minute walk to the National Park entrance. Lots of nearby restaurants and minimarts nearby, but not loud and crazy. A really nice chilled out place. 👌🏼
