Room on the very top under the roof in the side house. Very nicely decorated, lovely modern bathroom. Room had a balcony and is in a very quiet location. Very good breakfast and great dinner in the restaurant. They offer a sauna but we did not use it so we can not comment on that aspect. We have friends that live nearby and we didn't want to stay in Ellmau itself, so do note that you are NOT in the center of Ellmau with this property. But for us the location was excellent to walk to our friends house.

Great host and family. This is a very historic hotel whose owner's father helped Ellmau become the skiing destination that it is today. The rooms were designed to host large families and had the 1st elevator among all hotels in the region. The rooms are spacious and they overlook the mountain. The staff and service are great as well.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, good WiFi, good breakfast and excellent views around. Just few hundreds meters from Ellmau ski resort, which is IMH the best in Skiwelt. Very good spa area with sauna.

The host was very nice, welcoming and communicative. She made sure to be available at our arrival time to hand over keys, and show us the apartment. Clean, organized, and nice fancy apartment, everything was new in perfect condition and the apartment had lots of space for a big group. The host also arranges for fresh bread delivery every morning. Bedrooms, bathtrooms, kitchen are all in perfect condition and fully equipped with everything you need. Ski-lockers, hot tub, bbq grill in the balcony, ski to door and to lifts available. Overall we LOVED our stay in the apartment and our host! would definitely recommend the apartment and the host!
