We fell in love with the house and the little town of Ikuno. The house was big and spacious for three people, also we enjoyed the kotatsu and the bathtub the most. Asagiriso se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Kinosaki Onsen din Toyooka, la 2,3 km de Kinumaki Shrine, la 3,7 km de Seto Shrine și la 4,2 km de North Disaster Earthquake Monument. Our stay at Asagiriso was beautiful. The place is nice and very convenient.

Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Tocen Goshobo. It was just a few minutes walk away from the bus stops. The onsen bath was atmospheric and the temperature felt just right (not too hot even for inexperienced bathers). The staff was wonderfully welcoming, the room lovely and the futon beds extra comfortable. The Arima onsen village was bigger than we expected, several dinner options (we opted for only breakfast (was superb!) at the Tocen Goshobo).

We loved the hospitality of the host who took us for a guided tour of the local attractions (shrines, temples, and the local yokai spots) We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend going.

We felt so welcomed in this Inn while traveling with our dog. The room was wide with very comfortable beds, kitchen and spacious, clean bathroom. Big surprise was large dog run/ garden and onsen that you can use privately. Our dog enjoyed running in the garden and the view of the garden from the room.

It was one of the best experiences in Japan. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, doing their best to make us feel at home. We stayed after dinner, discussing about every one of us while drinking sake and beer and it was amazing! The hot pot for dinner and the breakfast were very good. Moreover, the outdoor bath was amazing!
