Wonderful location! Just 2 blocks inland from the waterfront, we could be to the main attractions in 5 minutes. We didn’t rent a car, so a hotel in easy walking distance was fantastic. The hotel is very nice. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was a nice perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our inquiries.

The hosts were wonderfully kind and open, the breakfast was excellent, and the house had a welcoming atmosphere. We truly felt at home and very comfortable throughout our stay.

It was a perfect place for a one-week trip. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the flat was enough big for 5 people, was in a very good condition and in a very good localisation.

We felt welcome in the Bordal house from the first minutes, Susana personally met us and showed around. There is a beautiful garden, swimming pool, vegetable garden, and banana palm trees. We enjoyed having dinners in the garden during our stay. Susana also gave us lot’s of great advice of activities around Funchal and the red of the island.

Ruben and Maria made us feel very welcome—and Ruben was able to give us some good advice and tips about hiking.

Loved our stay, Lynne to owner was lovely and so helpful with giving us lifts to and from the airport bus stop. She had supplied some food and drink to get us started which was really nice and helpful. Property was spotless and had everything we needed for a great week in Medeira. I would highly recommend and would love to stay here again
