Wonderful location! Just 2 blocks inland from the waterfront, we could be to the main attractions in 5 minutes. We didn’t rent a car, so a hotel in easy walking distance was fantastic. The hotel is very nice. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was a nice perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our inquiries.

The host family were incredibly welcoming & warm. Nothing was a problem & they were so kind. The breakfast was all beautifully homemade and in abundance.

Travelled around the island by car every day and spent evenings in the oldtown caffes. Apartment is great for such vacation and exceeds the promises (!) Staff is extremely helpful and took care about every ask from our side. We are going to be back here next year :)

We felt welcome in the Bordal house from the first minutes, Susana personally met us and showed around. There is a beautiful garden, swimming pool, vegetable garden, and banana palm trees. We enjoyed having dinners in the garden during our stay. Susana also gave us lot’s of great advice of activities around Funchal and the red of the island.

This place is really amazing and we enjoyed staying here. The apartment is modern and clean, bed is comfortable, kitchen is well equipped and the ocean view from balcony is wonderful. The airport is close to this apartment and we enjoyed watching the planes from our balcony. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every day. The owners are very kind and they helped us with everything we needed including car rental and tranfer from and to the airport. The location is perfect and everything important is near (shop, restaurant, beach...). I highly recommend this accommodation.
