the owner went above and beyond to stay up until 1130 pm because our flight was 4 hours late and the car rental office in the airport was closed except at the car pickup . the owner also gave me food and drink as i am diabetic and was getting low blood sugar from no food for almost 10 hours . what a great guy.

The hotel is in the middle of the town with plenty of restaurants around it in walking distance. The staff was very accomdating and fulfilled every extra wish. We liked the fact that - for a small extra fee - we were allowed to take rolls from breakfast on our hiking trips.

Breakfast was very good. The room was old-fashioned (1970s) but very clean. The location is easily reachable by car, but beware there is no bus connection. Beautiful environment directly on several hiking trails.
