What made this stay truly unforgettable was everything else: the beautiful room, the convenience, the atmosphere, the amazing homemade food (incredibly delicious) and above all, the warmth and kindness of the people who work there. The people here will go above and beyond to help you plan your day, organise your trips to the Great Wall, and make sure you feel completely at home. Their support and friendliness made such a difference in my journey. But what made this place even more special were the people I met. The staff organized incredible cultural activities like dumpling-making, traditional crafts, and karaoke nights that brought everyone together. It felt like a beautiful exchange of cultures and such a meaningful bonding experience. I was so touched by how warm and welcoming everyone was. The people working at the guesthouse made me feel like I was part of their family. I didn’t expect to feel so at home, but I truly did. I will definitely come back. I’ve made unforgettable memories here, and this place now holds a very special place in my heart. I know this won’t be my last time—I’ll return again for sure. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Situated in Miyun, just 50 metres away from the Great Wall, this friendly hostel features modern architecture, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Nestled in the laid-back Gubeikou Town, the single-storey house would be a warm base to explore the wild Beijing. One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Clean, comfortable, big beds and a very hard working, smiling host that cooks up a storm. Even if she speaks very little english, she goes out of her way with her translator to help. Big common room to talk with people and get hiking groups together. Really impressed with this place.
