Had a really good stay here the property is super clean and a well stocked kitchen. The staff were super helpful and attentive. The property was also so good and secure.

Additionally, Fabien went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, got settled into Costa Rica, and literally went above and beyond in every single way to help me with whatever I needed. The home is small, but extremely clean. He was very respectful of my space and my needs and I felt completely safe and comfortable. This is a property I would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a day or two in San Jose. His local knowledge and willingness to share that and assist me was truly exceptional. I will encourage any family and friends heading to Costa Rica to start their trip with him.

The lodge is a charming little house on a beautiful location. The owners were so gentle to receive is with coffee and cake and helped is later on to put the fire on to warm us up. This accommodation is super nice and you really feel like you are in the jungle. The staff was super nice and we really had a great time.

The colonial-style Costa Rica Guesthouse offers a green tropical garden and patio with complimentary Wi-Fi, Co-Work space and two private parking. Their WiFi does not work, period. There must be an issue as guests including myself complained all the time and I would then be told upon my own inquiry that nobody has mentioned anything....and I was in and out of this place (as facilities are interchangeable with their other business across the road) and the WiFi was basically unusable over a six day period. If you book a private room you will be in the main guesthouse (where the WiFi does not work), though if you book a dormitory via the same online guesthouse profile you will be situated across the street at a co-working space which is actually the nicest of the three (though all are nice). The WiFi in the workstation is expectedly good. I have no real qualms aside from some of the staff knowing absolutely nothing about basic travel queries and on two occasions I was given flat out incorrect information. Again, like with Costa Rica Backpackers this is the best group of accommodation options for travellers. Don't go to San Jose if you can avoid it though as it makes Managua look good.
