The location was peaceful and perfect for walking to Hrad Houska (which was closed but still worth the walk). It was early in the season when we visited. We had a fantastic traditional Czech meal in the restaurant which had a roaring fire and candles. We were asked to help ourselves to drinks and to write down what we had on a card. Breakfast was amazing - a lot of choice and kept us going all day. The host, George, and the waitress were just lovely. They could not have done more for us to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Nice swimming spot. Close to good hiking locations. Clean room. Good wifi. The tv has Netflix. All very good :)

Large garden for the guests use and also variety of interesting drinks to purchse.

Amazingly friendly staff running a beautiful and very tastefully furnished old chateau. Rooms were large, with a big shared room and a nice outdoor terrace available to guests as well. The wine cellar that belonged to the premises was very cozy as well and the owner had a great selection and knowledge on wine.

Surrounded by forest and farmlands in the Kokořínsko region, Penzion U Červených vrat offers accommodation in the in small village of Chudolazy, a 3-minute drive from Medonosy. It was dificult the contact in booking message and also they bdid mot help us to change the dates and we payed extra nights. But we have good time.

With help from Google translate we generally had no problem. The food was absolutely exquisit and the breakfast buffet was on spot. Beer was cold and coffee was hot. It can't get better.
