Youssra is an excellent hostess, upon arrival she provided us with fresh mango juice and we were able to leave our luggage as we went on our previously arranged trip. There are three rooms in the house, we stayed in the double room on the second floor, the room was clean and neat, with both a ceiling fan and A/C. There is also a rooftop sitting area. Washroom was fully functional, with ample amounts of hot water as needed. Location is perfect if staying on the island, after taking the public ferry for 10LE, walk up the stairs and make a right and it will be in front of you, we mistakenly were looking for a sign, but it is very easy to get to, plus there are two places nearby to get drinks and snacks, one across from the guest house, another about a two minute walk. A couple of restaurants also within a one minute walk. Ahmed also gave us more delicious mango juice and a small departing gift upon checkout. Highly recommend staying here while in Aswan if you want to support a small business doing their best to do things the right way and make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible.

We skipped dinner as we were coming back from a long trip, and it was great to rest and recharge our batteries for our visit to the Temple of Ramses II early the next day, practically free of tourists. The town is very quiet and safe. Thank you so much for everything.

Offering garden views, Nuba Heart is an accommodation situated in Aswan, 24 km from Kitchener's Island and 25 km from Aswan High Dam. The property has mountain and river views, and is 7.6 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. The guest house features family rooms. The Nuba Heart is a spanking brand-new Nubian accommodation on the west bank of Aswan, so very clean, it has the most comfortable brand new beds and sheets, the highest rooftop in the village that has an extremely friendly vibe where you eat breakfast and dinner. The owner is very proud and wants to do his best for everyone and his wife cooked the best Nile fish dinner I’ve have eaten in Egypt, highly recommended. Mohamed the owner’s son is a huge Asset to the family business, as he’s incredibly friendly and such a special person, his English is very good too. The lovely children could not have bigger smiles and so well behaved. You can walk to the Tombs being just up the road (which has fabulous views), then walk to the old Monastery and also to the mausoleum. I recommend that you come back to Nuba Heart by Camel and look for Harris at the mausoleum, he’s a lovely peaceful guy, who even bought me tea, he has 2 Camels, or more 🐪 are available if you’re a bigger group. There’s a public boat that crosses the Nile 24/7 costing 10 Egyptian pounds to reach the Nubian village on the West Bank and it’s either a short walk or a few minutes ride by tut-tut to Nuba Heart

Abu Simbel
Featuring sea views, Amon guest house offers accommodation with a private beach area and a balcony, around 1.5 km from Abu Simbel Temples. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast features a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. Adel always has a very easy and honest smile, just like his entire family. Their 8 year old daughter Nour took us to see the sunset and was very friendly with us and their 12 year old son showed us how to fish in Lake Nasser. Adel was very helpful throughout our stay of just 1 day, keeping us company and giving us valuable tips about shops and activities, about the Nubian people and their homes. He also took us to lunch at a very beautiful restaurant, with Nubian architecture, full of art, where we had one of the best meals in Egypt (beef tajine) with portions suitable for Europeans and the staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to see the sunset or sunrise on Adel's boat, but we recommend this activity to all tourists because Lake Nasser, the surrounding nature and the temples have a unique beauty seen from the water. Adel's house is clean and fragrant, the room is spacious and comfortable. The patio is very relaxing at any time of the day, which makes drinking mint tea, smelling the roses or simply listening to the birds almost a sacred moment.
Aswan
Some units in the guest house have private entrance and are fitted with wardrobe and dressing room. Featuring a private bathroom, units at the guest house also have free WiFi, while some rooms also offer a terrace. At the guest house, some units are soundproof. This was the best place we stayed in during our trip to Egypt! The guesthouse has a beautiful view of the Nile, with an amazing rooftop terrace. The atmosphere made us feel completely at home. Uncle Mahmoud, the owner, is such a classy and kind person—he welcomed us with fresh guava juice and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He arranged a reasonably priced taxi for a full day to visit the monuments and even offers boat tours on the Nile at fair prices. The kitchen is available if you want to cook, and it’s easy to cross to the city center for just 10 Egyptian pounds. On the day of our departure, Uncle Mahmoud woke up early to help with our luggage and sent someone with us to ensure everything went smoothly. These are genuine, honest, and wonderful people. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Property is in a quiet area of Aswan, away from the noisy city. Crossing the street it has an exclusive area to swim into the Nile river or do some kayaking, which are rented for a cheap price. They also offer water and soft drinks and a small breakfast included. You can easily spend many days relaxing in the hostel, without even leaving to do attractions.
The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!
Great host, quiet rooftop to chill, great boat trips available/ good place to connect with others.

The spacious apartment on the top floor, the terrace with a beautiful view on the Nile River, the kindness of the family who hosted us: they organized for us a daily trip to Abu Simbel and the transfer by minivan to Luxor and everything was perfect. The guest house is located on Elefantina's island, a great location far from the noises of the city but located near many good restaurants.
It was just 3 minutes away from jetty, Jamaica are such a sweet host, clean room, great location! She even recommended me to visit a great African restaurant nearby her guest house. 2 thumbs up!
Great location next to the Nile and 5 minutes on foot from the ferry. Also very nice rooftop to chill by the river. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, we were able to take our breakfast in a bag when we had to leave at 4am. He can also organize a trip to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price.
