They helped me book my tours, transfer to the hotel and also to luxor (visiting temples), I booked most with them and it was a great smooth experience, fair rates as well. The bedroom is quite comfortable and the toilet is good even though it is below the stairs.

We had such an amazing stay at JJ’s. We originally booked for three days but ended up extending for another three because we loved it so much. JJ and his family/staff are all very kind and friendly — they made us feel so at home in their beautiful slice of the world. Elephantine Island is very relaxed and has a lovely local feel (a very nice change from Aswan city and the rest of Egypt!). That said, you’re only a two-minute ferry from the mainland which was super easy and we went in most nights for dinner. We booked a tour to Abu Simbel through JJ which saved us from having to think about logistics of getting there ourselves 🙌🏼 we ended up being the first group there for the day so got some amazing photos and we’re back in the guesthouse by 1pm. Also the included breakfast was incredibly generous. Everyday we had fresh juice, eggs, bread, salad, cheese, fruit salad, jam & honey. Honestly amazing value and cooked with love. Plus the view from the rooftop (where breakfast is served) is beautiful, looking over the Nile. Our room also had an amazing view of the river. Honestly I can’t rave enough about this place. We feel so happy to have stumbled upon JJ Guesthouse and are leaving with some very special memories ✨🩷

But the best thing was the people working there, who helped us with everything during our trip, from transportation to Aswan to laundry and day-trips to the Nubian Village, and made us love the island. There is a sense of community on the island and especially in the guest house that we will always remember.

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. The best thing about the property was the impeccable customer service and hospitality of Ashraf. He went above and beyond in helping me with anything that I needed and he made my trip to Abu Simbel the absolute best solo experience I ever had. I felt totally safe and well accommodated; he would always follow up if there's anything I needed, accompanied me on several activities and was a good photographer, kept track of the timings and schedules for my tours before, during and even after I left the guest house. The food that his wife prepared were totally amazing, everything was fresh and complete. I highly recommend guests to stay in Osiris Guest House.

Located 22 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, FADL Kato in Aswan provides rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Each room has a patio with views of the river. We really enjoyed our stay at FADL KATO, with a beautiful location over looking the Nile, and a very accommodating host who helped us a lot by recommending restaurants and places to go to on the island and booked for us transportation to Abu Simbel and other trips. Would really recommend the place.

Offering garden views, Nuba Heart is an accommodation situated in Aswan, 24 km from Kitchener's Island and 25 km from Aswan High Dam. The property has mountain and river views, and is 7.6 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. The guest house features family rooms. My wife and I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel and wished we would have stayed longer. The hotel owner (Tamer) and his nephew (Mo) made us feel at home, helping us organising trips at very fair prices and preparing delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, on the West Bank of the Nile. You can get there very easily for 10 EGP per person with the public ferry. The atmosphere in the hotel and the village is very relaxed, which we absolutely loved after coming from very busy cities like Cairo and Alexandria. One of our highlights was the morning run + swim in the Nile that we did with Mo, who showed us the best spots in the village and in Aswan. We will definitely come back to visit these guys who became our family for some days

The room is comfortable and clean, nicely decorated and has lots of hangers. Abu offers a welcoming fruit drink, free boat transfer, sunset trip and much more. He makes delicious fish tajin for dinner. Breakfast is very tasty and nutritious too. I'd stay there again. Highly recommended!

We have never had such an amazing host, the hospitality was outstanding! Everything was clean and as advertised, most definitely recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Airkela Nuba Dool 2. It is run by amazing people and this is what I appreciated most, after even having seen wonderful temples of Abu Simbel, Philae, Unfinished Obelisk, and the Nubian Village. We felt like we were at home. People there are super helpful 24/7, warm, kind and nice. One of the best hotels I have ever been to. You won’t feel like you are tired after you come back from a day trip to Abu Simbel or Philae. Just an amazing place!!! Can’t describe how comfy I felt there. You feel like you are dreaming while being at Airkela located on the Elephantine island - in the middle of the Nile river and the most stunning part of the town of Aswan. The host organised everything for us after we asked him to help us with trips to several temples and sites near Aswan. You can even request a tour to Abu Simbel and all the stuff is organised for you swiftly just hop on the car with super nice drivers. I am still processing how amazing it was to stay at Aswan. The rooms are exquisitely beautiful, furnished with Nubian styled colourful furniture and have beautiful views over the Nile. You will find yourself in some fairy tail. We could not believe that we were staying in such a fantastic place. My friends and I arrived at midnight and the host organised a car for us which brought us to the hotel. The hotel is on the island as I mentioned above and to go to the bank in Aswan one has to take a super cute boat which functions every 15 minutes and takes 2-3 minutes to go to the other side of the Nile. The hotel also has a boat which you can ask to rent and the employees will take you on the tour on the Nile and to the majestic Nubian village to buy some local yummies and spices as well as locally made souvenirs. Airkela is a true paradise for holidaymakers! I 100% recommend this place! Cheers to its owners and people who work there! I miss you!
