Hostal Central Palace Madrid is the only guest house located in the Plaza de Oriente square, opposite the Royal Palace. It is 200 metres from Opera Metro Station and 10 minutes’ walk from Puerta del Sol. Central Palace Madrid is very close to the everything from metro station to the city centre. The place is situated in a quiet neighbourhood but very close to busy areas such as restaurants and shopping centre. The staff were very nice and accommodating and will give recommendations of the legit restaurants where the local eat and drink. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite big for a european standard accomodation. All in all I would rate Hostal Central Palace 9.5 out of 10 as they really effort with even small touches like welcome red wine and champagne.

You can walk to the charming Retiro Park Absolutely EVERYTHING! - The staff is exceptional! - The rooms are well kept and very clean; the mattress is totally comfortable. - The 'cherry on the cake': There's a coffeemaker in the room, and the coffee is the best I've had in Madrid. Yep! - Even though the hotel is only a 7-min walk from 'Grand Via', it is located in a very quiet, peaceful street... - There's a Japanese restaurant and a 'Poké Bowl' (delicious) restaurant next door. There are tons of places where you can eat out in this neighborhood.
