Excellent location of the hotel, in a quiet place, near several top restaurants. The terrace with an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the sea was superb. Also on the ground floor there is a cafe with a large selection of cocktails. Everything was clean and looks better than in the pictures. We will be back again

Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

Room was clean, well prepared and ahead of time. Had a very comfortable stay. Short walk from Old Town and in a quiet side street.

Very clean , tidy room in a nice area had all we wanted...very hot so water in room was a bonus in the fridge. Close to airport which was nice in the morning not to have to rush anywhere we were able to walk with our luggage to catch our flight...

Bonus points: the street is rather quiet, big windows let plenty of fresh air in and you can get great coffee.

The design is just beautiful and even better than the pictures. Lidija was really helpful with so many tips and even provided croissants for breakfast - an unexpected treat! We were sad to leave and would definitely come back to this gem on the island of Vi’s
