Drinking water available, both hot and cold. I booked a bus with them to Vang Vieng, it departed very close to the hostel. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Good location in a quiet area. Plenty of common spaces and a large terrace at the front. I had a very comfortable stay there for about a week. I loved the layout of the building, so many corners and nooks, no boring spaces. AC in the common area upstairs, and lots of books. They offer breakfast.

Located in the centre of Nong Khai City and beside the Mekong River, Mut Mee Garden Guest House is only a 5-minute walk from Tha Sadej Indochina Market. It offers comfortable rooms with the added convenience of luggage storage and laundry services. Free WiFi is available in the entire residence. Being right on the Mekong it was quiet with fresh air, no traffic. Lovely to stroll along the extensive promenade along the river. Good restaurant, great location, my own porch with chairs and a table at room entrance, and it is in a garden setting. bed had mosquito net (rare these days).

Wat Sisaket is 24 km from the guest house and Hor Phra Keo is 24 km away. A really nice little house to stay in nong khai. Close to the river and the Saturday market. The bedroom was nice and cold with the aircon. The self check in and check out was really convenient. Would stay again!

Our host Nick went out of his way to look after us. We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.
