First, our host, David, his family, and their 18-year-old dog were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They generously shared information about Oaxaca and the traditions of Día de los Muertos, making our stay both educational and enjoyable. They also showed great care for our safety, especially at night, and even provided transportation services late in the evening. My friend and I truly felt at home and appreciated in their care. The room was clean and comfortable, with an additional living space and kitchen that made our stay even more convenient. Do note that you'll need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. The common space on the third floor is absolutely AMAZING. While the location is a bit farther from downtown Oaxaca, the stunning mountain views from the beautiful garden make it well worth the stay.

She is simply the best—so joyful, warm, and always ready to share fantastic advice that truly enhanced my experience. Whether it was recommendations for hidden gems or just great conversation, she made my stay even more special. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, with great vibes and the best host, Villa Bonobo is the place to be! Highly, highly recommended—I can’t wait to come back!

Paziflora Hostel -STARLINK- se află în Puerto Escondido și are o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun și o terasă. Very cosy hostel, well-maintained and great value for money. It's located between Centro and Rinconada so it's a plus if you are interested in these areas plus beaches in this side and not the party areas (Punta) and the Zicatela beach. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Free water. The bunk beds in the female dorm where very nice and stable, I also asked for the bottom bunk bed and they considered my request. The common areas are big and nice, there is a pool, they have a mat that you can borrow to exercise. The garden which is very beautiful has a mango tree so you get to eat free mangos daily!! I also met very nice people there, it's not a party hostel but I met people my age (30+) and everyone was nice and friendly. Value for money, totally recommended!

Great activities, lovely staff, not a party hostel with people looking to get drunk or hook up but a real communal family vibe. Best decision I made was staying here.

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. Samora is a perfect location to relax, located at one of the best beaches of the area. The staff is forthcoming and very friendly. We felt immediately at home. The room exceeded our expectations, with nice ocean views. We definitely will come back!
