A good location for a relaxing stay in Slănic, Pensiunea Deceneu is a guest house surrounded by views of the quiet street. The property features a garden, bar and parking on-site among other facilities. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. We had the pleasure of spending 3 days in Slănic Prahova at Pensiunea Deceneu in mid-May.   I booked our stay on Booking.com, and I was a bit hesitant because I've read a few negative reviews on Google, but after also reading the positive reviews, I've decided to give it a chance.   Most of the negative reviews complained about poor lodging conditions and food, and even about the bad attitude of the owner.  But, after my stay there, I can only say that I have found ABSOLUTELY no valid reasons for such complaints.  For those looking for the utmost luxury accommodations and MICHELIN Star food presentations, this is NOT the place for you! HOWEVER, if you are looking for a place with reasonable rates, that offers a beautifully designed rustic environment, with clean rooms, excellent tasty food, and a warm welcoming by the friendly owners, then Pensiunea Deceneu is an excellent choice!!! The location is very conveniently close to all the local attractions (the salt mine, salt lakes/baths, etc). The closed-in private yard is perfect for families with children, and I've noticed they even allow pets

The room was spacious and clean, and the large salt lamp created a relaxing atmosphere—perfect before visiting the nearby Slănic Salt Mine. The terrace was big and offered a wonderful view, ideal for unwinding. There’s also a pool on-site, which is a nice bonus. The restaurant doesn’t have a huge variety of options, but the food was tasty, and the staff was very kind. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations—big, fresh, and delicious. Parking is available in the inner yard, and the location is excellent for anyone planning a trip to the salt mine. A great choice if you want comfort, views, and easy access to Slănic!
