Selby Cottage was an absolute glorious get away. Not only was the cottage itself full of charm, so clean, comfortable and the views were absolutely breathtaking! Given the cottage is right on the lake, we enjoyed every moment of the spectacular views, the wildlife, gorgeous sunrise and sunsets. Sitting by the fire pit with a wine, taking in the beauty was amazing. The host James was so kind and helpful. A host with the most. Can’t recommend the charming Selby Cottage enough!

Everything! The location was amazing, generous breakfast foods were provided as well as a lovely bottle of champagne. The room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The friendly ducks were a joy and we enjoyed the passing parade on the lake.

Amazing location! They have thought of everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The texting option was a great way to communicate. Very private and homely. The dog next door was no issue! We appreciated the nice note from the neighbors to let us know that it best if you don’t interact with him/her. Worked a treat and thoughtful to a family who loves dogs.
