Just twenty minutes from Dorrigo, this is the perfect place to stay for exploring the Waterfall Way. The cottage is just perfect! Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and so spacious, we really could not fault anything. Indeed it ranks in our top ten places we have stayed anywhere in the world, which is no mean achievement, as pre covid we had been travelling the world more or less continuously for the previous 14 years and have stayed in literally hundreds of places. Fay’s Cottage delivers so much more than expected and Janniene and Hugh are perfect hosts who go above an beyond what could be reasonably expected. The cottage is so well equipped and not just with the obvious stuff, but things that we really wouldn’t have thought of. We arrived to a fridge stocked with delicious goodies for breakfast. Shortly after we had settled in Janniene brought round a basket of the most amazing freshly baked scones still warm from the oven and, the next morning, a freshly baked loaf! This is one of the most tranquil places we have stayed and it was pleasant to relax in front of a roaring log fire in the evenings. The views from the verandah over rolling farmland and forest are simply stunning! This is one very special place!
