Situated just 5 minutes' drive from Heswall's town centre, the 19th century Thornton Manor - Holiday Cottages and Apartments is a stunning Grade-II Elizabethan country house.

Staff were happy to help and make sure your needs were met. We were attending a family wedding at Thornton Manor. As we were travelling to the wedding on the day we asked if we would possibly be able to access our room early. So we could quickly change and get ready. The wedding was at 2pm check in was 3pm. So a big ask ,to which they said we could book in at 1pm which was fantastic. They told us room most likely wouldn't be serviced but we could get ready and staff would service the room during the ceremony. As we arrived the cleaners we're leaving our room and it was all beautifully clean and tidy for us. It was so great to not have to sit in a car for hours to then go straight to ceremony. So thank you Thorton Manor for going above and beyond. The room was beautiful and despite being very old had a modern touch that didn't detract from the age of the place. It was lovely.

The pictures do not do this beautiful cottage justice. The whole cottage was beautifully decorated and just great for a romantic weekend away. The hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The living room created a cosy feel with access to Netflix and Prime video. Thank you so much.

Its exactly as the photos. Compact and comfy just what we wanted in a perfect, quiet location. Bedrooms were gorgeous and Gary helpful and available. Definitely want to visit again.
