We loved our stay. It was cozy and peaceful. Exactly what we hoped for. It was also really close to the Churnet Valley Polar Express which was great for us. Our son loved the playground across the road.

Great place indeed, can't fault anything about it. Very accommodating couple, we needed an early check in for a wedding and this was no issue. Lots of lovely touches. Located in Waterhouses, 13 km from Alton Towers, Waterside Cottages features accommodation with free WiFi and a kitchen. An oven and coffee machine are also offered. Lovely cottage at Waterhouses, in a good position for visiting the peak district. Will come back in Summer for cycling and hiking. The cottage is well equipped with a separate kitchen. Very friendly hosts who gave us the keys in person despite our late arrival. Thank you for the nice stay.

Woodleighton Cottages is located in Uttoxeter, a 5-minute walk from Uttoxeter Racecourse and 7 miles from Alton Towers. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodleighton Cottages. From the welcome pack which greeted us on our arrival to the checking in from Rachel over the duration of our stay to see if everything was okay or whether we needed anything or help with anything. It was truly a 1st Class service and most definitely a 5 star accommodation. The Cottages are a short distance to the race course or to the town centre. We will definitely be returning and will be recommending Woodleighton to our family and friends .

The house is on a quiet street, a short walk from Stoke railway station. With lots of local shops and takeaways close by. The property is clean and well maintained. With everything, you would need to cook a meal from scrstch if you wanted to! The well stocked fruit bowl and snack box were very welcome. The twin bedroom and bathroom/toilet are both on the ground floor. Which was ideal for us. We met the owner, who is a lovely lady. She responded immediately whenever we contacted her by phone or text. The next time we decide to visit Alton Towers, we will definitely be booking this house again.
