This cute little property was the perfect spot in Porto Covo! The host was amazing and left us some fresh bread and wine, which was so sweet. There's plenty of amenities at the house you can use, including coffee and a beach umbrella! The balcony is so nice with an ocean view. The A/C works SUPER well, it kept us frozen. Bathroom is great, awesome water pressure and lots of towels. The host recommended some awesome restaurants and there's a grocery store nearby. All in all, a really nice little place with everything you could need!

Featuring a lush garden with pathways and benches spread throughout, Quinta do Paraíso is located in Pedreneiras, less than 5 km from S. Teotónio and 13 km from Odeceixe. Very helpful host (German, Portuguese, English spoken). Good location (rural setting, close to coast, a comfortable drive from Faro). Beautiful and interesting gardens. My first floor room had a private balcony. Everything tidy and cleaned daily.

Monte Da Baía Do Tonel is located 5 km from the village of Zambujeira do Mar and offer a unique sense of peace and tranquillity. So quiet, the staff were great, they made us feel like we were at home. We used a small child and it was perfect for that too. They have já a better house because there was a bigger group next to us so they upgrade us for free to a nicer apartment so that we could Be on our own. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us, that was fantastic. The house had everything we needed to shower sleep, cool etc. We loved it.

Located by the lake of the Santa Clara Dam, Poioruivo is a wooden bungalow that offers a private beach area and a terrace with panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Free WiFi is available. The place is beautiful and silent. At night, the light pollution is low enough that you can actually see the stars. The water in the lake was wonderful throughout my stay, certainly warmer than Portuguese beaches. The houses are not as stuffy as expected. The best part is indeed the owners and hosts, Alipio and Maria, who are there to help you with whatever you need. Be forewarned, the place is really isolated. In each house there is phone reception and wifi and everything you need to cook. If need be, you can arrange to have someone buy you groceries in the nearby town and take them to. As such, you should expect to take your car there and have it stay there while you hike around the area or enjoy the isolation and peace of mind. I intend to return to do just that.

Extremely friendly and available staff. Excellent breakfast included. I ordered dinner on a couple of nights and food was very good. It's very comfortable, all very taken care of. I highly recommend it. It was my second stay and am planning to repeat the experience in the future.

Located within the South West Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, Naturarte Rio - Duna Parque Group offers self-catering villas with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. A great quiet refuge, perfect for enjoying time as a family. The 2 Br unit was a perfect size for our family of 4, and the breakfast each day was huge and excellent. My kids loved greeting the farm animals each morning and we enjoyed the nearby hiking trails.
