We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

Tanumstrand’s restaurant, Latitud, is located just next to the cottages. Staff arranges archipelago trips and a summertime club with activities for children. The view in the morning and in the evening is quite special and there's direct access to a walking path right by the water. Also, the experience to be spending nights at a cabin is quite special. The staff is very friendly.

The rooms at Lisebergsbyn feature comfortable Carpe Diem beds and TVs. Cottages have their own private kitchen and furnished patio. Location, nature, quiet, a bit like a little cabin in the woods. Good value, personally I preferred it to a hotel in town. Easy access to the city with the nearby tram line

Kitchen and dining room well equipped. A very nice lady at the reception, informed us about the facility and showed us around. We slept in peace and quiet.

Kitchen facilities include a fridge, cooker and microwave. Great location very helpful and friendly staff. Good price. Just tender your expectations, this is not a 5 star hotel but it is a wonderful getaway.
