Pension Bavaria is a hidden gem. We were received by our host Benny with warmth and kindness. The room was very comfortable and we had a view of the surrounding mountains from the many windows. Every morning we were greeted with a fine German breakfast and a smiling Benny who chatted with every guest showing interest in what they did and what they planned for the day. He was full of detailed information of every hiking trail which can be done in the area. The location of the Pension is ideal as one can start the walk from there. We look forward to stay there again !

There were many choices for the typical German breakfast, hearty breads, yogurt, muesli, jam, hard boiled eggs, etc. The breakfast room was very tastefully decorated as was the room that we stayed in. All of the staff that we met were very friendly and professional and spoke English with us when our limited German failed us. The room we stayed in appeared to be newly renovated, including the bathroom, and it was decorated with stunning photos from the area. The kitchenette came with a mini bar and all the utensils, glasses and plates that we needed for our stay. The view from the balcony faced the beautiful Karwendel mountains, had it been warm enough, we would have spent enjoying the view from the balcony. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood just a five minute walk from the train station and very close to the main street of Mittenwald. My travel companion and I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. We were pleasantly surprised with this property, it has the charming Bavarian guesthouse feel but with a modern touch and excellent service.

La location un po defilata e in prossimità della cascata è davvero molto godibile. Ampio terrazzo. Stanza grande pulita e attrezzata. Ci sono venuti incontro su un late check in.

The appartmentcomplex is situated at the end of a quiet street with views of the Karwendel mountainrange or the Kurpark. This place is a great spot to unwind, visit Mittenwald and to start some great hikes. We stayed in the topfloor appartement with a balcony facing the park. It's simple but more than comfortable enough.
