-The location is by far the one we liked most comparing to Thamel and Bhaktapur. It's of course more convenient for sightseeing than Bhaktapur, and less touristic and hectic than Thamel. We felt like locals strolling around, taking public buses in additional to taxis, going to local shops and eateries, chilling at the Durbar square, etc.. - The room was spotless clean, spacious, with lots of natural light, the bed was comfy and there was always hot water for shower! There was an electric kettle to prepare a tea or coffee. They also provided us with everything we needed. - The communication with Shreeya was top. She was always willing to help us! The boy at the reception (cafe) was, also, so kind and helpful and sweet. Thank you! - The non touristic vibe was what we needed for a 5 day stay!

This homestay is a real gem! Shila and Sudarshan are incredible hosts, always going the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home. I felt so cosy and happy for my week staying in that VERY beautiful room. The neighbourhood is wonderful to walk around, there are brilliant cafes a hop and a skip away, and I never got tired of the view out the window (see my photos). I stayed 2 nights at Suna House, it’s a traditional Nepalese house on several floors with a rooftop. The place is rather well located, in a local neighborhood close to everything and quiet. Sarita is very welcoming and smilling host, available and full of cultural knowledge and buddhism stories. I had a very pleasant, relaxing and warm stay. I loved listening to Buddhist tales sitting in the typical kitchen during my meals

Loved everything about Hira Guest House. Yelos our host was incredible and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history and everything about Patan. The architecture and artworks in the building was impressive and it felt like we stepped into that time in history. The place was actually better in real life than in the photos. There was also no need for air-conditioning as the building was well insulated therefore sustainable. My husband and I will definitely be returning to Hira Guest House

    I had a great stay at Traditional Newari Homestay. I can recommend everyone to stay here. Dinesh and his wife do everything to offer you a pleasant stay. They are always ready to help. They also offered to store my luggage when I went trekking. I returned to Traditional Newari Homestay several times during my stay in Nepal. The homestay is characteristic and has spacious rooms. The homestay makes you feel like you are at home. They provide a delicious varied breakfast and cook tasty evening meals. Thank you Dinesh and his wife!

    We had a great stay at Traditional Newari Homestay! The location in Patan is way more quiet than in the center of Kathmandu. The rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable and the family is very very friendly! They even helped us a lot with bustickets and taxi arrangements. Breakfast and dinner is great!     Dinesh and his wife and young daughter are great host! Dinesh is a very affable host, but also very cognisant to respect guests preferences to enjoy the homestay in private as needed. Depending on your travel preferences (interaction or not) Dinesh is very accommodating. Dinesh makes you feel welcomed from day one, and no request is too big or small. He is happy to take you around town, and really makes you feel like family. This enhances the homestay experience and gives a small insight into life in a Newari household.
